Pilgrimage

This was our first year to experience the pilgrimage for the Virgin of Guadalupe. The main cathedral downtown is named for her, so Tuesday-Friday, there were parades day and night in her honor. Many groups were represented in the parade: businesses, indigenous tribes, preschools, and more. TexMex Update

I'll let the pictures do most of the talking from our TexMex trip this month. Right away, we enjoyed the colorful sights of the city. The Malecon is a mile long boardwalk with a high concentration of shops and restaurants. It has a vibrant night life and there are lots of opportunities to converse with people.
